Welcome to Bright Side Farm, an idyllic retreat for horses and their riders, offering the luxury of time and space in the sprawling fields, rings and paddocks of its 40-acres.
Created by Matt and Annette Lauer, Bright Side Farm took two years to build, but it was a shared dream for much longer. Preserving the timeless feel of what the Hamptons used to be, at Bright Side the clock simply slows down. Even when the stalls are full come summertime, the feel is private and secluded. The views are magnificent at all times of the day, when the sun comes up and when the mist settles over the paddocks. Renowned landscape designer Miranda Brooks served as a consultant, framing nature at its best, and natural jumps interspersed with open farmland, dense woodlands and cross-country trails assure good riding for equestrians of every ability.
In addressing each detail, the Lauers have emphasized quality over quantity, and comfort over veneer. From the state-of-the-art indoor riding arena, to the highest quality footing, and temperature controlled tack rooms, this is truly an equestrian facility for all seasons.
The Lauers think of Bright Side Farm as an extension of their own home - a gathering place, where clients and their horses are welcomed like they’re part of the family.
